OUR STORY
Anyely and Karen, both native Colombians, first met at a moms’ group in 2015. They instantly connected over their common heritage, lives as new moms and of course mutual love for all things organized! Thus began The Neat Technique with the goal of helping families simplify their lives by organizing each space in their homes.

Originally from Colombia, Anyely now lives in the Tampa Bay area with her husband and son. No stranger to hard work, the bilingual mom recently earned a degree in Marketing. Juggling home life and school led her to appreciate organization even more. This sparked the concept for helping others regain control and eliminate fuss. When Anyely isn’t decluttering space or caring for her family, she indulges in her guilty pleasures of binge-watching Netflix and sleeping in.
Karen Harter
Co-Founder, The Neat Technique
Also from Colombia, Karen lives in the Tampa Bay area with her husband and children. With a flair for creativity, Karen is always working on fun home projects. She is also a dog mom, excels as a plant lady and loves to cook. Managing all of her tasks has contributed to Karen’s desire to create simple solutions for others. Karen has degrees in Architecture and Landscaping and is bilingual as well. In those rare, quiet moments she enjoys doing crafts and watching shows on Netflix.
